What is up you guys?! It’s been a minute since we last posted on here but since you guys asked for more reviews, that’s exactly what we’re gonna do 😉 Cause we love ya ❤ And food, but you guys too!
So one of our latest food hunts led us to this classy Indo-Italian place just a few FitBit steps away from Jumeirah Plaza. Let me just say, BEST AMBIENCE. Seriously though, from the well dressed staff, to the beautiful piano melodies, and best of all – the food! Lizelle and I had a competition going as to who can guess the song being played on the piano, and well……okay she won but come on she’s like obsessed with Bollywood music! Still love you Lizzie McGuire. Anyways, what I’m saying is all in all this is the perfect place to go with your family! Also, a VERY special thank you to The Vintage Room Staff for making Lizelle’s sisters birthday super special! They went the extra mile as the entire staff wished her and gave a complimentary dessert (YUM) and honestly we’re in love with this place.

Let’s start this off with the star of the show: The Scampi Risotto. This creamy perfection makes your taste buds just go crazy. It’s honestly the best risotto I’ve ever had! The rice and prawns were perfectly cooked and so soft that they were just melting in our mouth. The creaminess and taste was a 10/10 too! This is a: Rai’s Can’t Miss 😉

Crostone Caprese🌿 The mozzarella was amazingly fresh and went perfectly with the crunchy tomatoes! However, the sauce didn’t have enough flavor and we think it could have used some more salt.

Gnocchi😋 Here we have gnocchi prepared in garlic butter and tomato sauce with vegetables. Yes, it’s as good as it looks! We recommend you try this along with the salmon we order after (keep scrolling to see)

Tandoori Tiger Prawns🍤 The kashmiri chilli marinated with the prawns with the carom seeds makes for one heck of an aroma #drooling just thinking about it.

Dakshini Tandoori Salmon🐠 Alas! We reach the salmon! Cooked to perfection with south indian spices, as mentioned above we recommend you try this with the gnocchi❤️

Rajasthani Lal Maas❤️ The Indian lamb was cooked so tenderly with the perfect spices and gotta say, the chef really mastered the taste on this one. Goes perfectly with the photo below 😉

Jeera Pulao🍛 Well it’s safe to say Lizelle pretty much finished the whole thing…….
We recommend trying this with the Lal Maas to really make your taste buds happy😁

Mint Coconut Cucumber🥥 So refreshing!! The best thing to have to cool down in this oven that is Dubai🔥 All three flavors just go together so well to create such a cool drink!

DESSERTS🙋 Our favorite part ( ya already know it ;)) So let’s start with the Red Velvet Kulfi! I mean kulfi is the greatest thing ever but then comes along red velvet flavored and just rocked my world so much that I HAD to order another plate just for myself (soz liz) Then there’s the Tiramisu which Lizelle says was the second best she’s EVER had! She’s had a lot, even her own, and this one definitely made the Top 3 list easily! Lastly, we have the Rasmalai and it was as good as any other one out there! But the first two, for me, were the best desserts we’ve had in Dubai in a while!
Lizelle wanted to say a big thank you to the guys at the Vintage Room for making her sis’s birthday so amazing: “Since our first experience at The Vintage Room was spectacular, we wanted to go there once again and I don’t think we could’ve celebrated my sister’s birthday any better. Their food,service and ambience was absolutely phenomenal! The Vintage Room was also kind enough to surprise us with a complimentary dessert to make my sister’s day even more special.”
